How it works is very much like our other dry mixes.
It is a powder that is combined with the Enforcer Additive and mixed to the consistency you
desire and then troweled on.
It will take Oxidizer Stains and/or Dyes.
It reacts in a really strong fashion due to
the exceptionally high lime content.
It is exterior applicable.
If Oxidized or Dyed, it does need a Liquid Hardener.
It is more than durable enough for floors.
It can be spread as heavy as 1" w/o cracking.
It can be sanded within 24 hours, but sets rather quickly
and may require a grinder even within 24 hours in certain climates.
Bella Vernici's Slow-Drying Enforcer can be utilized to retard
the drying time, but does not have the same
long-duration as when mixed with Overlay.
The sample shown above was troweled with a bedcoat...
allowed to dry to approximately 80%
(defined as the moisture leaving the surface).
Then, it had a slurry coat hard-troweled over it
to backfill it to a semi-smooth finish.
Rock salt was then thrown in and pushed down as it set.
The following day, a diamond grinder was put
to it to expose the aggregate and pits.
Then, Hardener was mopped on.
After that had dreid overnight, three coats of Brown Gravy Wax were applied and buffed between coats.
This sample could also have been polished with a diamond
polisher to a mirror finish for a honed-travertine look.
In the sample below, the Limestone was troweled on in a bedcoat-
then immediately and sporatically applied as a lace coat over that.
It dried overnight and was washed with Bella Vernici Brown Dye the
following day. B.V. Liquid Hardener was then applied.
